Monday in Paradise

I wake early after 10 hours of serene slumber; gathering my pillow and blanket to sit and feast on sunrise. Two cats join me as meditation sentinels, Howard and later, Ghost. We eventually are joined by the chorus, Ne Ne, Doves and Roosters.
There is harmony here and music i might add as the wind arises and palm fronds clatter. Then the whales begin bounding!
Dan joins me for oatmeal flax and bananas. We plan our day: A walk on the lovely crescent of Hanalei Bay. A freshly extracted cup of pineapple passion juice fuels us:) then,
A bit of shopping as we need beach mats, black beans for Susan and i pick up a box of Passionflower Tea.
It's not real warm and i may need to buy a long sleeved Tshirt. My eyes are more interested in bikinis though.
Lunch is terrific at the Hanalei Gourmet.
Anini Beach is where we choose to spend the afternoon, reading Eat to Live and watching the waves break on the far reef.
It's pretty windy here so we return to our place and sidle up to the pool. Dan is bothered by the noise and we return to our room to freshen up for the Owner's Reception at 5:00.
Earle and Mary are there as well as Henri:)
We begin dinner as the sun quickly sets on out first day in Paradise.
The air is so rich here, i feel like i'm on sweet scented oxygen:)
